This is a background work in progress for the Azhanti High Lightning vessel currently being modeled.
The Earth was moved and a "sky" was added.
Here is the beginning model for a Rampart. This spacecraft launches from one of the two tubes on the front of the AHL.
And here is a test render of the AHL's rear. Ramparts re-enter through the launch tubes in the rear when the doors are open.
Approaching such a ship can bring either great joy or great dread to the viewer. Fuel refineries are still vacant holes to be filled. And the bottom hasn't been detailed yet. This is a test render of the patch paneling used as a texture.
Now to customize...
Shaved the corners some on the rear end. Too boxy before. And according to Mongoose Publishing, more turrets should be involved.
In the meantime, a Broadsword Class Mercenary Cruiser is in the works.
Added the turrets.
Here is a pinnace for it. Actually, it is a 50-ton Modular Cutter. They dock inside the Broadsword.

Time to pay a visit.
