POLITICS
ITS SOUL
Whether one likes it or not, and/or whether one knows it or not, politics is inside each one of us.
Whether one admits to it or not, one is controlled by one's own politics.
A vast number of people go through life never knowing what really is their politics or that it is actually controlling them, while other people are very much in full knowledge of the politics within them and are even able to detect the politics of those around them.
ITS USE
Everything one thinks, says, and does, comes from one's politics.
Some people state what (they think, or what they want others to think) their own politics are to others. But their internal true core politics are what actually and inevitably control their actions.
A group of such people can ruin a country as Ayn Rand pointed out (ca. 1979).
Politics overrides one's religion, philosophy, and rationality. In a way, politics sets ones parameters for such things.
A pregnant woman's politics will already make the decision for her whether to terminate the pregnancy, to abort the pregnancy, to kill the fetus, to kill the unborn child, to kill the newborn, to trash the newborn in a dumpster, to abandon the newborn in a bathroom, to leave the newborn at a hospital, to leave the baby at a church, to give the baby up for adoption, to not let the father know about the child, to be a mother to the child, to not let the father ever see the child, to see that the child is loved, to raise the child, to raise the child with the father, to see their child grow and be successful in life, etc.
Politics can give the notion to some that freedom and free speech is a right that everyone must always pursue.
Politics can also give the notion to some that one must control and/or prevent the freedom and free speech of others at any cost.
Politics determines if one is a conservative, a liberal, or a muslim.
Politics determines whether one is judged by the content of their character or whether one is judged by their gender (a word now used to replace the word sex), cigarette smoking, height, skin color (but not hair or eye color), age, sexual orientation (yes, some really need to know if guys are doing each other in the butt or not), what kind of cars one owns/drives, weight, celebrity status, deformities, financial situation, standard of living, race (of all things), and how close one lives to a beach. Intelligence isn't on the list if one's own politics has them thinking of him or herself as being an elite.
Politics determines if one chooses to wear pipe bombs and blow themself up in a crowded mall.
Politics determines if one is forced to wear pipe bombs and be blown up (by someone else via remote control) in a crowded mall.
ITS CURE
Understanding where one's own thoughts and actions originate from helps one to understand the politics within oneself.
Alternatively, understanding one's own politics helps one to understand one's own ideas and daily rituals.
People with differing politics can never achieve or agree to anything that is positively, crucially, beneficially needed or required for completing some task or improving something.
Those same people (with their differing politics kept private or pushed aside for the moment) may manage to agree on something. But they'll still fail because each person will expend only a minimal effort on their part to avoid conflicts with their truer inner core politics. Such people acting politically correct together will only produce something that is impractical and/or immoral.
One's politics can never be changed or altered.
There is no cure.
