USING GLOW TO LIGHT A SCENE IN CARRARA PRO 5.1
Here we have a scene modeled in Amapi Pro. A wall is temporarily deleted just so the inside of it can be shown to you, the home viewer.
The scene is then imported into Carrara. The only lighting used will be from the recessed box in the wall. Carrara's default glow effect is created by setting the box's color and glow values to 100%. The render looks ok here.
This time, the color value of the recessed box is increased to 200%. The scene is brighter (maybe too bright). It seems less realistic looking than the first render when you see the light going through the sphere onto the floor. Maybe it's just me.
Anything Glows was used to light the scene for this render. All values were left at 100%. Notice how much more real the scene looks now. The entire room seems to be lit up more. But I'm sure it can still be improved on. <-- Back |
